Space Camp

It’s the first launch of the week, and Commander Alyssa knows she has to safely transport astronauts to the surface of the moon. Meanwhile in Mission Control, Flight Director Connor orders his crew to prepare all systems for liftoff.

Mission Scientist Paolo, an astronaut on- board the International Space Station, documents his findings from an experiment to determine how chemicals react in space.

Back on Earth, engineer Rebecca leads a team to develop and test a new ablative shield that will protect astronauts and their spacecraft from the intense heat of re-entry. Mission Specialist Katie trains for a spacewalk by scuba in a Neutral Buoyancy Simulator.

Each year, thousands of trainees from around the world arrive at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, for a week of fun, new friends and amazing adventures at Space Camp.
